With an international background in design management, business development and brand strategy, Assaf leads nascent's brand innovation discipline, combining insightful thinking with pragmatic best practice.
Assaf previously worked as Director of Digital Media at DesignBridge in London, a leading international brand consultancy. Prior to that, Assaf worked at the globally acclaimed design and innovation firm frogdesign, where he founded Frogdesign’s Israeli offices, before transferring to Dusseldorf, and serving as Vice President, Business Development for Europe.
At nascent, Assaf has led engagements for clients, including Amdocs, Motorola, Kodak, SanDisk, Gilat Satellite Networks, Brack Capital, GKH, TED and Maccabi Healthcare Services.
Since co-founding nascent, Roy has shaped the development of one of the most admired creative teams in the business. From user experience to brand identity, moving image to mobile, Roy's understanding of business dynamics and diverse skills, drive creative innovation for nascent's international client base.
Roy works hands on with both internal and external teams, helping them to understand and leverage the power of design as a strategic business tool.
Before nascent, Roy spent over eight years in San Francisco, where he ran his own agency, Lampa studios, now known as Palma VFX. Working with Bay Area start-ups on go-to-market strategy and design, he also produced corporate movies for technology giants including Sun and Lucent. Additionally, Roy consulted for The Orphanage, a leading LA post production and VFX agency, lead by three senior ILM Alumni.
Roy has led nascent engagements for clients including SAP, Betterplace, Modu, Kodak, Msystems
SanDisk, Emblaze, Juniper Networks and NDS.
